Requirement Gathering and Assessment
The Pyxis team starts an assignment by first understanding the project requirements of the client. The expectations and deliverables of the project are well enumerated. The existing processes of the company such as internal risk management system etc are understood. The specific requirements are collected in detail. Depending upon the nature of the project, this may or may not require a deployment of consultant at the client’s site. Parallel to this, processes and dedicated offshore team is setup. The team would include a project manager, quant analysts and technology engineers.

Pyxis provides a complete assessment of the project to ensure that the client does not miss out on the bigger picture, while concentrating on one particular task.

Solution Design and Implementation
Based on the analysis of the documented requirements, Pyxis designs a detailed solution and put appropriate procedures in place.

The proposed solution is then discussed with the concerned personnel, so as to make everyone involved aware of their responsibilities during the implementation / execution and also the post-implementation phase of the planned solution. A daily/weekly conference call schedule is set up between the team and the client for communication of progress, changes and enhancements. VPN/Citrix may need to be set up for sharing the project and data required by the project.

A standard handover would involve deployment of the software and training of the client staff. All software tools and research works are accompanied with comprehensive
documentation of the project.

Pyxis neither believes in leaving anything incomplete nor keeping the client dependent. It provides extensive training to the client personnel involved and make sure that they can efficiently carry out their specific tasks. A review is conducted to see if everything has been covered thoroughly.

Pyxis dose not consider successful implementation as the end of the responsibility. There is an extensive post-execution support process in place with standard support and
maintenance agreements.
